Sand Dollar Financial Literacy Counselling Inc:
A Farewell
Heartfelt Gratitude
After many fulfilling years in the financial literacy space, I’m following my dream of retiring at 55. Accordingly, I am closing the doors to Sand Dollar Financial Literacy Counselling Inc.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all my clients, partners and supporters. You have all been a valued part of my journey.
Whether you joined us on the Fempower Initiative, Badass Queens, Prosperity programs, or simply followed along, thank you for your support.
This decision comes with immense pride and is my way of embodying what I’ve taught. As this chapter closes, I’m looking forward to new beginnings including travelling to many new and exciting places.
For now, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be taking an extended trip (3 months) to Southeast Asia next year!
I’ll be spending time volunteering at an elephant sanctuary — an absolute dream of mine.
I intend to indulge my joy of cooking by taking classes, particularly in Thai, Cambodian and Vietnamese cuisine.
I’ve heard that coffee-cat cafes are a thing there, so I suspect I will be spending loads of time hanging out at these cafes.
I’m also considering volunteering my time and skills in financial literacy by connecting with womens’ groups in the region.
This chapter is all about shifting gears, living fully in the moment, and savoring the rewards of my financial framework which I’ve shared with all of you over the years.
