Let me share a little bit of my story with you…
I was born into poverty and raised by an illiterate mother. I’m a first-generation Canadian, and I counsel Canadian women (from influential names you’d know to women you’ve never heard of but would be inspired by!), about the power of financial literacy counselling.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, I spent the first 25 years of my life struggling and living in poverty. Because I was poor, I was subjected to bullying, humiliation, and abuse.
My mother couldn’t read or write but was very hard-working and knew how to make money using her skills. Still though, she made some terrible money mistakes that ripped the family apart and caused our family to be homeless for many years. The effects of those financial mistakes are still being felt four generations later.
I know that if my mother had fully understood how money worked, educated herself on how to manage it, and healed from her money trauma, those mistakes could have been avoided.
But she needed a mentor, someone to guide her and show her how to manage her money in a way that would have worked for her. And because she didn’t have that mentor, not only did she lose it all, she couldn’t teach me those vital money skills either.
And at a very young age – I promised myself I wouldn’t follow the same fate as my mother. So I worked consciously to:
- break the cycle of poverty
- heal from my childhood money trauma
- stand proud as a financially empowered woman!
So many of us have grown up without a financial mentor to help guide us! That’s why I’m so driven to teach and share what I’ve learned with other women.

We often hear the joke, the only things certain in life are death and taxes. But here’s what I can add to that list as a certainty–I am confident that if you do the work, show up for yourself at our sessions and complete the homework, you’ll get to where we agree you’ll be! If you aren’t there by the end of the program, I won’t give up on you. We’ll extend our time together, one month at a time, until we get you there!
And when I say “get to where we agree you’ll be”, that’s unique to YOU and your goals. We’ll discuss it before you join the program when you book your no-strings, no-pressure chat with me. Q: If this is a group program, do others know my personal finances? I prefer privacy…
A: Your numbers, your budget, and your details will stay 100% private. I work on your specifics privately. The group will only know what you choose to share, and you can share as much or as little as you’re comfortable sharing. Everyone in the group is required to sign a privacy agreement as well. Much like Vegas, what happens in the Prosperity Circle, stays in the Prosperity Circle (and believe it or not, we have FUN, too!).
Q: What are the payment options?
A: You can pay $1,800* upfront, $300* Canadian a month for six months or $150* Canadian a month for 12 months. You can pay via credit card or e-transfer.

Q: How do I know if this is a good fit for me?

A: I can help. Yes, it can be a challenge when your income isn’t predictable (hello, entrepreneurs!) or something unexpected changes in your situation (job loss, lay offs, relationship status changes) – but all of this is possible to work through and still step into your power to manage your finances! When you commit to the program, I will be there to work with you and support you through whatever happens in life or business as we create a budget that finally works for you.
Q: Are the sessions recorded if I miss one live?
A: Yes, all the sessions are recorded and uploaded to our group.
Q: What if I have questions after a session or about an exercise or worksheet?
A: You can email me or you can do what most of the members do which is post the question in the group. This way others can benefit from the answers as well.
